Boston Herald criticizes the excesses of capitalism.

In an editorial, the newspaper declares, “If a limited financial group shall come to represent the capitalistic end of industry, the perils of socialism, even if brought about by a somewhat rude, because forcible, taking of the instruments of industry, may be looked upon by intelligent people as possibly the lesser of two evils.”
